well, it had to happen and it did - I am ill after getting through the entire winter without succumbing to a cold or bug. This flu-ey thing I have has meant I have not put on my trainers for a week now and because Ive been in such a parlous state I haven't terribly missed it. Every morning I wake up thinking I will spring out of bed in my usual way (!) only to feel dizzy and limp and sick so hopefully it won't be long before I can trot out amongst the daffodils and even bare my blue-white legs as it is time for shorts , shurely ( and a shave)...!
I must be feeling a bit better as I am sitting up on the sofa typing this and have eaten several Easter eggs. Hopefully it won't dent my training too much and even if it does, I just would like to feel better.
