Please consider coming along for a fascinating evening..we would love to see you!

Secondly, may I draw your attention to the forthcoming anthology The Poet's Quest For God: 21st Century Poems of Faith, Doubt and Wonder, edited by Dr Oliver Brennan, Todd Swift and Dominic Bury. It is the first global poetry anthology about religion and doubt to include poets of all faiths and none. It was due to be published in April, but due to funding issues with the publisher, Eyewear, this has come into some doubt.

The book is now part of a crowdfunding project, and as I write, has reached over 20 per cent of its funding target. Perhaps you might consider contributing £15 towards its existence? By doing so, you support the work of a vital and vitalising small press (which had its funding unexpectedly and completely pulled last week) and essentially pre-order yourself a copy of a  unique book which will retail at £20.

As the book's blurb says:

The Poet's Quest For God features over 250 of the leading poets now writing in the English language, mostly represented by new poems of the 21st century.  This is the first contemporary global anthology of poems of spirituality and religion to feature poems by Atheists, Agnostics, Christians, as well as those from the Jewish, Muslim, Hindu and Budhhist traditions.  The poets are from America, Canada, Ireland, the UK, India, and elsewhere, including Patience Agbabi, Kazim Ali, Fanny Howe, Mimi Khalvati, Stephen Burt, Christian Wiman, Charles Bernstein, Rae Armantrout, Andrew Motion, Elspeth Smith, Annie Finch, Alfred Corn, Ilya Kaminsky, and hundreds more. "

I'm pretty proud to have a poem in there, Faith Song..it's next to Rowan William's poem (so there is an advantage to being a 'W' after all!)
